The FIA have amended the engine component regulations for 2024, reducing the allocation of ICEs, TCs, MGU-Ks and MGU-Hs down to 3, after it was raised to 4 in April 2023. Reports suggest Mercedes and Red Bull have pushed for this change as they believe it will disproportiately negatively affect Ferrari and Alpine.
