Turn 10 has announced that the long-awaited second update for Forza Motorsport will be available starting November 14, 2023, and it contains a large number of fixes and new content, most notably the new Yas Marina circuit.
This is one of many free updates planned by Turn 10 and Microsoft for Forza Motorsport’s long-term post-launch support. The goal of the update is to make the racing game a constantly evolving game, able to receive new content on a regular basis for years to come.
The main new feature in Forza Motorsport’s second update is the new Yas Marina track. This is one of the most technologically advanced tracks of our time, as it is presented by the developers themselves. The track simultaneously combines advanced architecture, exciting racing and the shimmering waters of Abu Dhabi.
There will also be new “Cars in the Spotlight”, meaning cars that can be purchased at a 30% discount and will change every week. You can see all of these cars on the screen right now.
New Car Pass cars have also been added to them.
Car Pass brings new cars to your garage every week throughout Forza Motorsport’s life cycle if you bought either the Deluxe or Premium editions of Forza. The next four have been confirmed by Turn 10.
The first is the 1965 Lotus Type 40, a classic Lotus sports racing car from the height of Lotus’ power in the 60s. This will drop on 16th November.
The Lotus will be followed by the McLaren 720S GT3 on 23rd November, 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT3 on 30th November and 2019 Peugeot DG Sport Competition 308 on 7th December.
Also in the second update there will be a new career series, the Prestige Tour, where you can get your hands on a 2011 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento car.
Prestige is something that must be earned, combining elusive, elegant quality with unmatched performance, technical innovation and a storied heritage. These are the dream cars of every automotive enthusiast, evoking emotions like wonder and awe in their drivers.
The Prestige Tour begins with the British GT Series, an exploration of the famous marques that have made the country so famous in the automotive space. It continues with the V12 Power Series where you’ll experience the power and harmony of mighty V12 engines in some of the most elusive cars of the past 20 years. You’re then invited to take on the fastest production cars ever made in the Maximum Velocity Series before finally discovering the world of limited-production supercars in the Boutique Builds Series, blending art with performance like nothing else on the track.
These series do not have to be completed in a particular week – you have until December 28, 2023, to complete the Prestige Tour, so you can enjoy these events at your own pace.
Complete all 4 Prestige Tour series to unlock a car that requires no introduction, the 2011 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. You will be rewarded with this car regardless of how you finish in each race or the overall series.
In terms of fixes, the developers promise to fix bugs in player selection, bugs in the operation of the countdown when preparing for a race, bugs in the operation of the livery editor, problems with black tint on cars and much more, including claimed fixes to the overall stability of the game and reduced crashes on all platforms.
The main changes of the second Forza Motorsport update are presented on your screen.
Italian Open Tour.
Forza Update 2 is updating the Builders Cup Open Class Tour to include Italian manufacturers. Lamborghini, Maserati and Ferrari cars will be on show.
The prize for coming out on top is a 2015 Ferrari 488 GTB. CBAS series will be available from 16th November until 14th December.
