Multiple F1 drivers have suggested harsher penalties should be applied to the incidents in which Sergio Perez has been involved over the last two weekends, believing a standard 5-second penalty is not enough to deter drivers from ill-judged overtaking attempts. George Russell has proposed the return of drive-through penalties for race-ending crashes.
