Mercedes have unveiled substantial W14 upgrades for the Belgian Grand Prix, including changes to the rear wing, sidepod cooling inlet, rear sidepod engine cover and leading floor edge. This may be the “huge” upgrade package that Toto Wolff described several races ago, but which has been delayed beyond Silverstone for reasons unknown.

In addition to a new low-downforce rear wing specific to Spa, Mercedes has brought significant sidepod updates with a rounded air inlet, more aggressive downwash, and a concave lower surface which increases outwash near the rear floor edge.
